COMAST XML Schema //
COMAST XML Schema is a free and
open schema definition for all kinds
of (amateur-) astronomical observations.
COMAST XML Schema was developed by the german "Fachgruppe
für
Computerastronomie" (section for
computerastronomy) which is a
subsection of Germanys largest astronomy union (VDS - Vereinigung der
Sternfreunde e.V.))
Currently there are
already two applications supporting the COMAST standard:
Eye&Telescope
(>=
Version 2.6)
(Commercial)
Observation
Manager
(Free)
More applications are currently implementing the COMAST support.
- Both components (Observation Manager and COMAST XML Schema) are released under the APACHE Software Licence 2.0
